Members of the biomaterials research group have different backgrounds in biomaterials engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science and Engineering (Ceramics, Polymers, Metals and Biomaterials).

For the moment we are running different projects also giving scientific and technological advice for new products and processes development to industries. Also technology transfer and quality control in the biomaterials field is part of the work.

Our research activities focus on the development of new scaffolds for regenerative medicine, biomaterials characterization, and biomaterials identification and selection. Some of the projects are listed below:
